Xbox 360 or PS3 owners willing to make the jump to the Xbox One can pick up the console for $200 with a new deal, which gives $100 in credit for any newer model trade-in.
The deal, which is available for all to see over on the official GameStop trade-in website, will offer up the deal to any customer who owns a newer model of the Xbox 360 or PS3 – specifically, any 320 GB or higher slim Xbox 360 or PS3. In fact, after Microsoft’s own spring sale is taken into account, the Xbox One will only cost the gamer $200.
Oh just one of those films you stumble upon while browsing the internet and wonder what it’s about. So saw this film because felt like watching a not-so-famous science fiction drama. And I have to say, I don’t know what to feel. It was ridiculously catchy.
So the story revolves around a college professor who claims in front of his colleagues that he is 14,000 years old. The whole movie is set in one room by the way.All of his peers start to question him and stick around as he tells them stuff they find fascinating. Among his colleagues is an archaeologist, an anthropologist, a biologist and a christian literature expert. That’s not all. There are a lot of twists and heavy revelations. And I mean, a lot of them. Some predictable, some out of nowhere. The pacing is mostly dialogue driven(obviously since there’s only one room to shoot the movie in).

Almost every movie grabs your attention. Few rare gems manage to trap you inside the universe of the movie for an indefinite amount of time. Detachment (2011) is one of those movies. Its dangerously precise elaboration of societal issues, shockingly amazing progression and mature acting with the support of continuous background music create so attractive a scene that you just don’t wanna look away from the screen.
Detachment revolves around the life of a substitute teacher Henry Barthes (Adrian Broady) who is detached from the world due to the trauma he experienced when he was a child. He teacher as a sub in a local New York school where everything is declining. He meets people like him, who are also struggling with their lives. And explains his learned lessons throughout the movie as a narrator. Continue reading “Underrated Movie Review: Detachment”

Despite being criticized brutally by critics, scoring 29% on rotten tomatoes, 44% on metacritic, the general audience reviews are still quite favorable, 73% on rotten tomatoes and 7.5/10 on Imdb.
Batman V Superman has been dominating the box office with a Domestic Total as of Mar. 27, 2016: $170,100,000 (Estimate) and if it can maintain this triumph, it success will reach its targeted goal which is around a billion, anything less will be considered a loss by WB.
The cast of the film have claimed it to be an audience film rather than critical. Henry Cavill who starred as Superman said “The interesting thing is that we get the critics who have their personal opinions. And the thing about personal opinions is that they always come from a place. And there’s a preconceived idea which you have to get past a critic before you start writing your article or your review, and that affects everything. What is really going to matter, I believe, is what the audience says. Because they’re the ones who are buying tickets, they’re the ones who want to see more of this kind of story or not and so the audience’s voice is loudest and after this weekend the audience, at least partly, will have spoken.”
Co-star Amy Adams added: “I know that Zack [Snyder] doesn’t make the movies – or none of us – are making the movies for the critics. You can’t go into it with that perspective. I know we really hope the fans like it and so far the reaction has been really positive on that front. If you’re interested in a film you should see it and form your own opinion rather than just going on the word of somebody [else].”
More details of the movie’s gross can be found at Box Office Mojo.
